Guido Molinari

Born and bread Montrealer, in his prime, Guido Molinari was at the forefront of color abstraction in the province of Quebec. His work often combines a wide array of colors and shades, in geometrical unity, making it so that the pictorial space of his paintings creates a set of peculiar optical effects. Not only recognised by his artist work, he was also a well-known participant in the life and development of Canadian arts, due to being an educator at Concordia University whose academic work influenced a generation of younger Canadian artists.
